What Can Be Done With Glenview Park Golf Club?
Public hearings to discuss flood control and renovations to the Glenview Park Golf Club area scheduled for Aug. 15 and 20.
The Village of Glenview and Glenview Park District is seeking resident feedback on a development plan proposed to address storm water management on the Glenview Park Golf Club and in surrounding neighborhoods, as well as golf course renovations.
Two public hearings have been scheduled. The first hearing, to focus on storm water management, will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 15. The second hearing, focusing on golf course improvements, will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 20. Both meetings will be held in the Lakeview Room at Park Center, 2400 Chestnut Ave.

The project is scheduled to begin July 7, 2014. The golf course will be closed during construction and is expected to re-open in June 2015.
