Grayslake Lake Central High School is on soft lockdown Tuesday due to police activity in the area, according to an update on the high school’s website.
Principal Dan Landry provided the following message regarding the lockdown:
Students will remain inside the building for the rest of the day. Classes will continue as scheduled and students will not be allowed to leave campus for lunch or without parental permission. We will keep you advised if things change.
