Home Of CEO From Grayslake Listed For $10M Following His August Death

The widow of Bill Giambrone​ has quietly listed the home on Erhart Road for $9.98 million, according to Crain's Chicago Business.

GRAYSLAKE, IL — A 53-acre Grayslake estate that was the home of Platinum Mortgage CEO before he died recently has hit the market.

The widow of Bill Giambrone has quietly listed the home on Erhart Road for $9.98 million, according to Crain's Chicago Business. The roughly 9,000-square-foot home has nine bedrooms, three stocked fishing ponds, an outdoor pool and outdoor kitchen, an island in the lake on the north end of the estate and a honeybee colony.

The home also features a game room, movie theater, an outdoor fireplace, a year-round hot tub, a sport court, volleyball court, golfing hole and putting green and a barn with multiple garage spaces, according to the Chicago Tribune. Giambrone and his wife, Michele, have owned the Grayslake estate for more than two decades.

Giambrone, who died in August, co-founded Platinum Home Mortgage Corporation in 1994 with his brother, Michael, according to his obituary.
