Concrete Stolen From Hinsdale Worksite: Cops

In another case, a Western Springs woman was arrested on a DUI charge.

HINSDALE, IL – Hinsdale police released their latest blotter on Tuesday. Here is information from the latest reports:

Theft

  • A concrete saw was stolen between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. Thursday from a worksite in the parkway in the 300 block of East First Street. The case is pending.

DUI

  • A 29-year-old Western Springs woman was arrested about 1 a.m. Saturday at Ogden Avenue and York Road on a DUI charge. She submitted to testing that indicated she was over the legal limit. She was released and given a date to appear in court.
  • A 30-year-old Downers Grove man was arrested about 11 p.m. Saturday in the 400 block of East Ogden Avenue on charges of DUI and speeding 26 to 34 mph over the speed limit. He refused testing to determine his blood-alcohol content. He was released and given a date to appear in court.

Hit-and-run

  • Someone crashed into a mailbox and drove away about 7 p.m. Saturday in the 5500 block of South Park Avenue. The case is pending.
