D181 Selling Used MacBooks For $300
The used student and staff laptops go on sale Monday at 7 p.m.

The following is a release from District 181:
Community Consolidated School District 181 is inviting the public to purchase used student and staff MacBook laptops. An estimated 67 devices will be listed and sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Computers can be purchased online with a credit card at hobi.com/hinsdale181 starting Monday at 7 p.m.
The laptops are used, but in good condition, director of technology Eric Danley said. The MacBooks have a 2.0 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor with 2G Ram, a 160G hard drive and a super drive (DVD burner). The laptops are being sold for $300 plus tax, as well as shipping and handling, which is arranged by the distributor HOBI.

"After making a number of laptops available first to district families in need, we are pleased to invite our district community to purchase these devices at an affordable cost," Danley said.
Funds from the sale will be used to offset technology-related costs in the district.
