Downtown Parkway Tweaks Will Improve Sidewalk Access, Aesthetics
Residents will see many improvements to downtown turf in the coming weeks.

The village has scheduled parkway improvements in the right-of-way of three sections of the Hinsdale Central Business District.
Sections of turf and mulch between the sidewalk and street are being replaced with decorative brick pavers and sustainable landscaping. The pavers will give customers better access to the sidewalk and parking meters, and the work will improve the aesthetic appearance of the Central Business District.
Work began Friday, Aug. 26, with an anticipated completion date of Friday, Sept. 9.
