Happy 50th Birthday to the Clarendon Hills Library!
'Dancin in the Stacks' will take place from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Friday night at the Clarendon Hills Public Library.

The Clarendon Hills Public Library is celebrating its 50th birthday Friday with a party that will feature food, live music, and plenty of activities.
"On December 1st of 1963, the Clarendon Hills Library, then housed in a small ranch house at 7 North Prospect Avenue, first opened its doors," a Patch event listing submitted by the library reads. "On Friday, November 15th 2013, the staff and Board of Trustees of the Library invite all residents to celebrate at 'Dancin' in the Stacks,' a party to commemorate this milestone birthday."
The party will run from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Johnny Rogers' "Buddy & Beyond Show," a '50s and '60s cover band, will play.
"There will be activities for children, refreshments, and some special guests as well," the event listing states.
This event is limited to the first 200 people to sign up. Those interested can register online or call the library at 630-323-8188.
