Hart Running For Hinsdale Village President
It's time to make room for new leaders and perspectives, he said.

HINSDALE, IL – A former DuPage County Board member announced Thursday that he plans to run for Hinsdale village president in the April 1, 2025 election.
Greg Hart, a management consultant, said the village's past leadership has provided a solid foundation, but it was time to make room for new leaders and perspectives.
"Our Village President can – and must – play a leading role in shaping progress, innovation and good government in Hinsdale and throughout the region," Hart said in a news release.

The candidate filing period is from Nov. 12 to Nov. 18.
In the 2022 election, Hart, a Republican, lost to Democrat Deb Conroy in the race for DuPage County Board chairman. The village president's position is nonpartisan.
In his news release, Hart said he had a record of success in county and local government.
"My primary mission as your Village President will be to improve public safety, champion our local businesses and expand shopping and dining options in the central business district, improve our infrastructure (including bringing ComEd to the negotiating table to finally bury our power lines), and expand intergovernmental cooperation...," Hart said.
Hart and his wife, Alexandra, have three young children. He grew up in Hinsdale.
