Hazard Lights Tip Hinsdale Police To DUI: Cops
A woman's flashing lights and slow driving alerted an officer, police said.

HINSDALE, IL – Hinsdale police released their latest blotter Tuesday. Here is information from the latest Hinsdale police reports:
DUI
- A 41-year-old Clarendon Hills woman who lives in the 400 block of Clarendon Court was arrested about 12:30 a.m. Saturday at 55th Street and Route 83 on charges of DUI and an illegal flashing light. An officer stopped the woman for traveling slowly with her hazard lights on. She submitted to testing that indicated she was over the legal limit. She was released and given a date to appear in court.
- A 20-year-old Hinsdale woman who lives in the 300 block of North Lincoln Street was arrested about 9:30 p.m. Thursday in the 100 block of East Ogden Avenue on a DUI charge. She submitted to testing that showed she was over the legal limit. She was released and given a date to appear in court.
- A 50-year-old Chicago man was arrested about 6 p.m. Saturday in the 5500 block of South Madison Street on charges of DUI, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, driving an uninsured car, illegal possession of alcohol by a driver and failure to carry a driver's license. He refused testing to determine her blood-alcohol content. He also refused to comply with a search warrant. He was released and given a date to appear in court.

- A 60-year-old Hinsdale woman who lives in the 800 block of West North Street was arrested about 7:30 p.m. Saturday in the 400 block of North Quincy Street on a Hinsdale warrant charging fleeing or attempting to elude an officer. She was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
Damage
- A car parked in the 300 block of South Lincoln Street was damaged between 8 p.m. Aug. 18 and 11 a.m. Aug. 19. The case is pending.
