Hinsdale Retailer Among 'Winningest' For Lottery

The Illinois Lottery released the ones that sold the most tickets so far in 2025.

HINSDALE, IL – The Illinois Lottery on Thursday released its top 10 "winningest" Powerball retailers so far in 2025. These are the ones that sold the most winning tickets.

Shell Food Mart, 210 E. Ogden Ave., was No. 7 on the list. The top one was Lucky Mart, 2900 W. 87th St., in Chicago.

The others were in Skokie, Glenwood, Rockford, Westchester, Morton Grove and Carpentersville. There were two others in Chicago.

Specific numbers were not given for the retailers.

The Illinois Lottery released the list as the latest Powerball has risen to $950 million, making it the sixth-largest jackpot in Powerball history and the game's biggest in more than a year, according to a news release.

Last month, the Illinois Lottery honored Shell Food Mart for its longtime "joyful, creative" approach to lottery sales.
