Mail Truck Burglarized In Hinsdale: Cops
In another case, officers arrested a woman on a domestic battery warrant, police said.

HINSDALE, IL – Hinsdale police released their latest blotter Tuesday. Here is information from the reports:
Postal truck burglary
- Someone stole a bin of mail from a parked postal truck between 4:30 p.m. and 4:50 p.m. July 29 in the 100 block of Ravine Road.

- A 37-year-old Downers Grove woman was arrested about 4 p.m. Monday on a Downers Grove warrant. She was stopped for a car registration inquiry. A day earlier, she was charged in Downers Grove with domestic battery that causes bodily harm and interfering with the reporting of domestic violence. She was taken to the Downer Grove police station.
E-scooter theft
- A person was seen on surveillance video stealing an electric scooter about 1:30 p.m. Wednesday from a bicycle rack at Washington and Hinsdale avenues. The case is pending.
Stolen converter

- A catalytic converter was stolen from a car between 2 p.m. July 27 and 1:30 p.m. July 29 in the 300 block of Claymoor Road.
