Man Arrested In Hinsdale Robbery Case: Cops

The man was found later the same day as the incident.

HINSDALE, IL – A 19-year-old Country Club Hills man was arrested on a misdemeanor theft charge in connection with a robbery, police said.

About 6:30 p.m. Aug. 29, two suspects entered Walgreens, 15 Grant Square, and requested $250 be added to a gift card, police said.

The 19-year-old grabbed the money for the gift card out of the cashier's hand after the transaction was completed, police said.

He was arrested at his house later that day after fleeing from the police.

He was released and given a date to appear in court.
