Man Exposes Himself In Hinsdale Public Place: Cops

In another case, a Hinsdale man was charged with domestic battery in a local neighborhood.

HINSDALE, IL – In the last few days, Hinsdale police handled cases involving public indecency, disorderly conduct, domestic battery, car burglaries and a fugitive from justice. Here is information from the latest Hinsdale police reports:

Public indecency

  • A 43-year-old homeless man was arrested about 7 a.m. Monday on charges of public indecency and disorderly conduct. Police said his pants were down and his genitals were exposed in the business vestibule at the AT&T building, 120 S. Lincoln St.

  • A 48-year-old Hinsdale man who lives in the 400 block of Ashbury Drive was arrested about 9 p.m. Monday at his house on a domestic battery charge. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

Car burglaries

  • A car was burglarized about 11:30 a.m. Oct. 22 in the parking lot at RML Specialty Hospital, 5601 S. County Line Road. Police said the suspect stole a woman's wallet and made fraudulent charges using her credit card. The case is pending.
  • A car in the 10 block of East Seventh Street was burglarized overnight Saturday. Someone rummaged through the interior, but did not steal anything.

Fugitive from justice

  • A 35-year-old Chicago man was arrested about 1 a.m. Oct. 21 at 57th Street and County Line Road on a charge of being a fugitive from justice. He was stopped for driving without taillights. He was wanted on an arrest warrant from South Fulton, Georgia, an Atlanta suburb. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
