Man Gets In Trouble With Hinsdale Police Repeatedly: Cops

In another case, a Hinsdale man was charged with domestic battery.

HINSDALE, IL – A Chicago man has gotten in trouble with Hinsdale police at least four times in the last week, according to reports.

On the afternoon of Oct. 26, officers charged the 43-year-old man with retail theft after he stole food and beverages from Walgreens, 15 Grant Square, police said.

On Halloween, police gave the man a no-trespass notice for McDonald's, 935 N. York Road. Yet he returned to the restaurant on Saturday and Sunday, despite receiving the written order, police said. He was charged with trespassing in those instances.

In each case, the man was given a court date and released.

  • A 21-year-old Hinsdale man who lives in the 5800 block of Grant Street was arrested about 7:30 a.m. Thursday at his house on a domestic battery charge. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
  • A 32-year-old Gary, Indiana, woman was arrested about 5 p.m. Thursday at the Shell gas station, 210 E. Ogden Ave., on a DUI charge. Police said she was sleeping behind the wheel. She was given a court date and released.
