Pro Golfer Breaks Record Selling Priciest House in DuPage County
Jeff Sluman sold his and his wife's mansion for $4 million.

A professional golfer and his wife broke the record Thursday for the priciest residential real estate sale in Hinsdale this year.
No sale kept up with the $3.725 million price tag on a four-bedroom mansion back in July, according to the Chicago Tribune, until Jeff and Linda Sluman put their home on the market. The home was 9,000 square feet, compared to the previous record-breaker’s 4,959 square feet.
The Slumans finally sold their house for $4 million flat after taking it on and off the market since 2010. They originally listed the mansion — comprised of a bowling alley, five fireplaces, a theater and more — for $5.45 million, the Chicago Tribune story said.
