Wallet Stolen From Hinsdale Home While Workers Present: Cops
In another case, an unattended bike was stolen along a street, police said.

HINSDALE, IL – Hinsdale police released their latest blotter Wednesday. Here is information from the reports:
Stolen wallet
- A resident in the 300 block of South Monroe Street told police that his wallet and checkbook were stolen between Friday and Sunday. He had workers in his house when the theft happened. The case is pending.

- A bicycle was stolen between 8:40 p.m. and 9:20 p.m. Friday at Madison and 55th streets. The owner said the bike was taken after he left it unattended, propped up against a fence.
Retail theft
- Someone stole shoes about 11 a.m. Sunday at the Alixandra Collections boutique, 40 S. Washington St. The case is pending.
DUI

- A 26-year-old Romeoville woman was arrested about 1:30 a.m. Monday at Ogden Avenue and York Road on charges of DUI, stopping, parking or standing on the roadway, and having no valid driver's license. She submitted to testing that indicated she was over the legal limit. She was released and given a court date.
- A 30-year-old Evergreen Park man was arrested about 3 a.m. Monday in the 100 block of East 55th Street on charges of DUI, improperly using lanes, failing to signal when required, and transporting or possessing open alcohol by a driver. He refused testing to determine his blood-alcohol content. He was released and given a court date.
