Woman Groped On Hinsdale Path: Police

The man ran away to a Toyota after the incident, authorities said.

HINSDALE, IL – A woman told officers that a man groped her while on a footpath earlier this week in Hinsdale, local police said Wednesday.

The incident occurred about 2:30 p.m. Monday near the Hinsdale Apartments, 300 W. 59th St., according to a police news release.

The man ran away after the incident to a gray Toyota, possibly a Corolla, in the complex's parking lot, police said.

The man was described as black and about 30.

Police said they are investigating.
