The 53rd Annual Algonquin Founders' Days has begun.

This year's festivities run Thursday to Sunday, July 25 to 28. The carnival, food vendors and live entertainment will be held this year at Algonquin Lakes Park (near Algonquin Lakes School, 1401 Compton Dr., Algonquin, on the east side of town).

Some activities- such as the Cardboard Boat Regatta, Standup Paddle Board Challenge and Fireworks, will be held at Riverfront Park, 201 N. Harrison St., Algonquin.

Gate & Time Admission Prices:

Thur., July 25: No admission fees!
Fri., July 26: 5 p.m. $4 Adults, $2 Children 4-12
Sat., July 27: 1 p.m. $4 Adults, $2 Children 4-12
Sun., July 28: Noon $2 Adults, $1 Children 4-12
