Conservative Radio Talk Show Host to Visit Huntley Area Tea Party

Conservative 89 WLS radio host Dan Proft will talk about how to “Restore the U.S. Economy” with the Huntley Area Tea Party.
Proft joins Steve Beaman, a successful entrepreneur, at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 18 at the Cosman Cultural Center, 12015 Mill St.

“All the things that are up (unemployment, taxes, regulations, gas prices) should be down, and all the things that are down (job creation, home values, family net worth) should be up,” a Huntley Area Tea Party release announcing the lecture states.
“The United States is at a fork in the road; one path leads to prosperity & growth in the 21st century, the other leads only to further decline, dependency and despondency.,” it states.

Proft, a renowned writer and political commentator, entrepreneur, is a former Republican candidate for governor, and weekday morning radio talk show co-host with Bruce Wolf for 89 WLS in Chicago. He also works as a Senior Fellow at the Illinois Policy Institute, a free market think tank in Chicago. He is a regular guest on local and national public affairs programs.
Proft is speaking about the Illinois Opportunity Project that seeks to educate the public about public policy that is driven by the principles of liberty and free enterprise, and on the state of Illinois spending, debt, deficits, and where do we go from here, the release stated.
Beaman is a successful entrepreneur and an expert on the U.S. economy. He has authored over 400 articles on better living and business building, the author of the “Path To Prosperity” and a frequent keynote speaker at countless events.
He will talk about the national debt and how to restore our nation to a path of growth and prosperity. Topics include excess federal spending, the fourth branch of government departments and agencies that are growing and destroying jobs (EPA, Energy, Labor, HHS, OSHA) through burdensome regulations, expansion and impacting our national debt; he’ll show us the right path to under-control-spending and balanced budgets, according to the release.
