Coroner Conducting Autopsy in McHenry Death Investigation
Police are conducting a death investigation at a home in the 500 block of Country Club Drive near McHenry.
McHenry County Coroner Dr. Anne Majewski announced Thursday her office is investigating a death on the 500 block of Country Club Drive, in unincorporated McHenry.
An autopsy will be performed later this afternoon, Majewski stated in a news release.
The identity and gender of the deceased will not be released until family has been notified, the news release stated.
The Northwest Herald reports several officers responded to the home yesterday and set up crime scene tape around the property perimeter. Several deputies were seen going in and out of the house throughout the night and an ambulance was on the scene as well.
