Marengo Man Charged with Sexual Assault

A 17-year-old was charged with criminal sexual assault involving a female juvenile, McHenry County Sheriff’s Deputies said.

The suspect’s name was not released due to his age but deputies said he admitted that he assaulted the victim at an address in unincorporated Marengo on Sept. 22, according to reports.

He was arrested on Oct. 30 and his bond was set at $80,000, deputies said.
