FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Patrick D. Kenneally, McHenry County State’s Attorney, announced that Tammy J. Newsome, 58, of Lake in The Hills, Illinois, was convicted of two counts of Aggravated Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, a Class X Felony, and one count of Aggravated Driving While Driver’s License is Revoked (Subsequent Offense), a Class 4 Felony, following a jury trial before the Honorable McHenry County Judge Wilbrandt. The defendant is scheduled to be sentenced on March 31, 2022. 

This case was investigated by members of the Lake in The Hills Police Department. The case was prosecuted by Kyle Bruett and Justin Neubauer of the McHenry County State’s Attorney’s Office.
