Sheriff: Mundelein Man Arrested on Drug Conspiracy Charge

A fourth man has been charged in connection with a McHenry County drug investigation that already resulted in three arrests, the sheriff’s office said.

Rolando Gonzalez, 19, of 26229 N. Oak Ave., is charged with felony unlawful criminal calculated drug conspiracy, two counts felony unlawful delivery of a controlled substance, two counts unlawful possession of a controlled substance, authorities said.

Gonzalez’s bond was set at $250,000.

The Marshals Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested Gonzalez on a warrant without incident Friday morning.

He was wanted in connection with an investigation where two gang members and a gang associate were arrested on Nov. 15. Sheriff’s deputies seized approximately 153 grams of cocaine, a 2003 Lincoln Continental, and a 2004 Jeep Cherokee in conjunction with this investigation.

Sheriff Keith Nygren estimates the street value of the narcotics seized in this investigation to be approximately $15,300.00.
