Free Live Music at The Hyde Park Farmers Market

Enjoy free live performances as you shop for fresh flowers, fruits and vegetables, homemade crafts, baked goods and more at the Hyde Park Farmers Market, located at 5235 S. Harper Court, every Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

This week's lineup:

• Aaron Smith: 7:00 a.m. - 8:30 a.m.
• Ethan Sellers: 8:30 a.m. - 10 a.m.
• Laura Doherty: 10 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
• Darius Hampton Music: 11:30 a.m - 1 p.m.

Harper Court converts into an open-air market that features more than a dozen local and regional farms and Hyde Park area vendors. The final day for the farmer's market is October 27, 2016.

The Hyde Park Farmers Market is looking for musicians interested in playing during each event. All ages, instruments, and musical styles are welcome, and performances must be acoustic (no amplification). Ninety minute slots will run from 7 a.m. - 1 p.m. Compensation is $50 per 90 minute session with valid W-9 form. Musicians are also welcome to sell any CDs or merchandise.
