The 61st Street Farmers Market is Hyde Park and Woodlawn's and premier outdoor farmers market, organized by Experimental Station since 2008. The market offers fresh produce, cheese, meat, eggs, and prepared foods from local and regional farms. The market is open year round inside Experimental Station (6100 S. Blackstone). Enjoy the farmers market located on 61st St. between Dorchester and Blackstone Avenues this Saturday Aug. 20 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The 61st Street Farmers Market accepts LINK and Senior Farmers Market Coupons. We also match LINK purchases up to $25 per cardholder, per market day, as long as funding lasts. This means that LINK cardholders can double the value of their LINK purchases each week at the Market.
Southside Diabetes will be on site to offer free market money for participants. Chef tastings with seasonal ingredients will take place between 10:30am and 11:00am (times may vary depending on availability).
Free Yoga is offered at 11:30am, some mats provided.
At the market you can expect to find: fruits, veggies, bread, eggs, cheese, meats, baked goods, baby greens and lettuces. As well as prepared seasonal food, veggie burgers, soups, fresh pasta, preserves, honey, cider, salsa, sauces, and prepared food (crepes and more).
