Music from the Time of Queen Elizabeth the First
The Early Music Ensemble presents the first of three concerts focusing on the music of William Byrd, commemorating the 400th anniversary of his death. Hear Tomás Luis de Victoria’s Christmas motet O magnum mysterium, instrumental music of Anthony Holborne, and Byrd’s Mass for Three Voices.
Complimentary tea and cookies are served at 4:15 PM, and the music begins at 4:30 PM.
