University Church Hosts Police Accountability Forum

Panelists include Ald. Leslie Hairston (5th) and representatives from Black Lives Matter Chicago and Black Youth Project 100.

Join the University Church for a panel discussion to hold police accountable for their actions against Chicago area residents. The police accountability forum takes place this Sunday, Oct. 23, from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at 5655 S. University Ave.

Panelists participating in the forum will include Ald. Leslie Hairston (5th), journalist Jamie Kalven from the Invisible Institute, representatives from Black Lives Matter Chicago and Black Youth Project 100, as well as sponsors of the proposals for the Civilian Police Accountability Council (CPAC) and the Fair Cops Ordinance.
The discussion will be moderated by Rev. Julian DeShazier of University Church.
