St. Nicholas Orthodox Church in Joliet will host a Christmas Cookie Sale and Church Open Door Day on Saturday, December 20, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at 1000 Barber Lane.
The event will feature assorted boxes of homemade Christmas cookies, baked by parish volunteers and available for purchase on a first-come, first-served basis. No pre-orders will be taken.
Guests are also invited to participate in the church’s Open Door Day, an opportunity to step inside the historic parish, learn about Orthodox Christian traditions, light a candle, or enjoy a moment of quiet reflection during the holiday season.
