Neighbors, our family has spent months defending our home from a 5-story luxury condo development at 112 Burlington that violates the La Grange zoning code. While it may be too late for our specific lot, we are proposing 4 critical changes to the La Grange Zoning Code to protect your home from being the next one overshadowed.
We need your support for these 4 provisions at the Jan 13th Plan Commission Meeting:
- Transparency: Record and broadcast all Plan Commission meetings. Sign here
- Accountability: Require developers to host neighborhood meetings before submitting an application. Sign here
- Buffer Zones: No buildings 4 stories or over directly sharing a lot line with single-family homes. Sign here
- Resident Rights: Prevent developers from bypassing setbacks or other codes when next to a single-family home. Sign here
