Quinn, 32, purchased the property as new construction in July 2021 for $2.125 million through a Texas-based limited liability corporation, according to property records.
In April 2020, Quinn signed a five-year contract, $70 million contract with the Bears, $30 million of which was fully guaranteed.
In July 2020, he purchased a six-bedroom Glencoe mansion — also on Sheridan Road — for $3.5 million and sold it for the same amount the month before buying the Lake Forest home.
Quinn went on to play 38 games for the Bears, setting an all-time franchise record for the most sacks in a season in 2021 and earning a third trip to the Pro Bowl.
In October 2022, Chicago traded him to the Philadelphia Eagles in exchange for a fourth-round pick in the 2023 draft. The Bears agreed to pay $7.1 million of his remaining base salary, and Quinn and the Eagles mutually decided to cut off the final two years of his contract, making him a free agent this year.
Sarah Elder Lyons of Compass North Shore is the seller's agent on the Lake Forest listing, which was first reported by freelance reporter Bob Goldsborough for the Chicago Tribune's Elite Street column.
