Man Driving without Front Tire Arrested for DUI: Police

Police also determined that a call about a suspicious vehicle was just a college student packing up to go to school.

DUI

An officer conducted a traffic stop on Route 41 at 4:30 a.m. Aug. 17 for a vehicle driving without a left front tire. The driver was arrested for DUI and no valid license.

Suspicious car packing

Officers responded to the 400 block of Pine Court at 4 a.m. Aug. 18 for a report of a black suburban or pickup truck that was coming and going from the area and loading things into it. The officers met with the resident next door who said his son was driving the vehicle and was packing up to leave for college.

Suspicious walker

An officer responded to Oak and North avenues at 9 p.m. Aug. 20 for a report of a suspicious man walking nearby who may have been intoxicated. The officer found the man who said he was just out for a walk and determined that he was not intoxicated.
