Man Who Gave Police False Name in 2011 DUI Arrest Taken into Custody

There was also an arrest for domestic battery at Lake Forest Hospital.

Domestic battery at hospital

Officers responded to Lake Forest Hospital for a report of a man striking a woman in the parking lot at 11 a.m. Sept. 20. Police spoke to both people as well as several witnesses. Casey Byas, 55, of the 1700 block of Longview in Waukegan, was charged with domestic battery. He was transported to Lake County Jail for a bond hearing.

DUI, obstruction of justice

Henry O. Corvera-Rivas, 33, of the 100 block of North Victory Street in Waukegan, was arrested at his home Sept. 19 on a 2011 Lake Forest arrest warrant.

He was originally arrested in December 2011 for DUI but gave officers a fake name, police said, and never appeared in court. Police learned his real identity and obtained an arrest warrant and were able to take him into custody after learning he was regularly staying at the Waukegan home.
