Now Hiring: Lake Forest Seeks Salaried Sailing, Race Head Coach
The full-time, annual position is part of Lake Forests nationally recognized sailing program.

LAKE FOREST, IL - Are you ready to set sail on Lake Michigan?
Lake Forest officials are searching for a full-time, year-round head coach and assistant for the local Community Sailing and Basin Program. Part of the city's Recreation Department, the nationally recognized program is sanctioned by U.S. sailing as an accredited training center for lessons tailored to all ages and skill levels.
Those wanting to apply for the head coach and program assistant role must do so by May 7. The associated salary is listed at $42,920, on the city's website.

Responsibilities include coaching a nationally recognized race program, implementing seasonal youth and adult programs as well as equipment maintenance. The individual will also be responsible for managing the local boat launch basin, sailing compound and coordinating all seasonal sailing and basin staff members.
The successful applicant will have high level racing experience personally as well as demonstrated proven leadership abilities as a Coach at a robust sailing program. He or she must also be positive, organized and enjoy working with kids and adults.
