Police Arrest 3 Men in Theft of 400 iPads from Lake Forest Academy
One is a former security guard at the school. The electronics went missing last year.

Lake Forest police have arrested three men for the theft last year of 400 iPads from Lake Forest Academy. One of them is a former security guard at the school.
The iPads were stolen in June 2013. Since then, police said they have recovered numerous stolen devices that the men sold both in person and via the Internet to unsuspecting buyers. The three men had also each registered stolen iPads to themselves, police said.
The men were arrested last week, and police announced the arrests Wednesday. The men are, according to police:

Nicholas R. Roiniotis, 25, of the 600 block of Constitution Drive in Palatine. He used to work as a security guard at the school and is charged with burglary and felony theft. He’s currently being held on $500,000 bond.
Natan D. Khanania, 25, of the 1100 block of Brookside Court in Hanover Park, who was also charged with burglary and felony theft. He’s free on $300,000 bond.

Anam M. Qadri, 31, of the 300 block of Jennifer Lane in Roselle. He was charged with conspiracy to commit burglary and conspiracy to commit theft. He’s free on $200,000 bond.
