The Lake Forest Fire Department is ready to kick off its 2nd annual Citizens Fire Academy beginning October 2 and running every Thursday for six weeks. This is an interactive program developed to familiarize the citizens of the areas we serve with the personnel, equipment, and operations of the Fire Department. It also provides a forum for the Department and citizens to share information and concerns. The Citizens Fire Academy is offered at no cost and is dedicated to increasing public awareness and creating a safer environment at home and the workplace.

You must be 18 years of age and reside or own a business in Lake Forest, Lake Bluff, or Knollwood.
