Summer-long Western Avenue Construction Starts Soon

LAKE FOREST, IL - A summer-long construction project that will beautify Western Avenue kicks off next week.

The North Western Avenue Streetscape project will begin May 8 with a completion date expected in early August, according to a community update.

City officials are tasking Landmark Contractors, Inc., to construct new sidewalk and crosswalk upgrades, remove and replace curbs and pavement, expand pavement to provide additional on-street parking, and add landscaping details.
