2 Lake View Hotels Ranked as Some of Best in Chicago
Two boutique and trendy hotels in Lake View caught the eye of the folks at Curbed Chicgao. See how they stack up to other Chicago hotels.

Real estate and business website Curbed Chicago is breaking down some of the hottest and best hotels in the city, and two neighborhood staples made the cut.
Coming in at No. 31, The Willows Hotel is a quintessential boutique hotel featuring 19th-century furnishings and a cozy atmosphere. The small hotel at 555 W. Surf St. has 51 rooms, 4 suites and even afternoon cookies at 4 p.m.
"Get up to Lakeview to experience lively pockets like Boystown, Wrigleyville, and Southport Corridor, not to mention Belmont Harbor and a world of parks & rec.," writes Crubed. "... Bonus: the hotel virtually straddles the border with Lincoln Park which is known for its picturesque side streets, collegiate life, and rampant upscale shopping."

“Reviewers like it, by and large, although some confuse the Lakeview location for Lincoln Park since it's ON Lincoln Park. It is a short walk to Wrigley, the lake, and the eclectic scene on Broadway and Belmont and there’s a free breakfast as well as a cookie service,” Curbed reports.
For the same randomly chosen weekend as The Willows, the Majestic Hotel also had an average room price of $175 per night.
Curbed looked at user reviews, profiles and listened to street credibility when ranking what it says is the top 38 hotels in Chicago. The two hotels in Lake View are some of the only ones on the North Side listed in the roundup, with the Peninsula Hotel at 108 E. Superior St. taking first place.
