Ascension Illinois and Illinois Bone & Joint Institute expand services at Lakeview hospital

Ascension Illinois is excited to announce the expansion of Illinois Bone & Joint Institute (IBJI)’s footprint on the Ascension Saint Joseph - Chicago campus in Lakeview. The expansion brings together a team of providers covering a broad range of musculoskeletal specialties — aimed at delivering comprehensive, coordinated care for the local area. This enhanced partnership expands on our previous collaboration at the outpatient orthopedic surgery center on Saint Joseph’s campus at 331 West Surf Street, Suite 6400.

With increased demand for convenient, integrated orthopedic and rehabilitation services, IBJI’s expanded office is designed to reduce fragmentation, allowing patients to move more seamlessly between specialists, imaging, therapy and surgery as needed. The on-site cast room and imaging station accelerates diagnosis and treatment, and better meets the growing need of the area and city. Additionally, having dedicated providers for foot & ankle, upper extremity, sports injuries and pain management all at one location means faster access and more coordinated care.
