BIG and little's Opening Lake View Location
The popular River North is opening a second location in Lake View.
Popular River North diner BIG and little's is opening up a Lake View location in January, according to an article by DNA Info. The restaurant — owned by childhood best friends Tony "little" D'Alessandro and Gary "BIG" Strauss — has been featured on "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives," "Mystery Diners" on the Food Network and WTTW's "Check Please."
The Lake View location will feature the same menu, but will be cheaper than the River North location, the DNA Info article states. Favorites include fish tacos and soft shell crab po'boys. The location — 1034 W. Belmont — is the former home of Indie Burger.
