1. A man was found dead early Friday morning on the train tracks at the CTA station in the 900 block of West Belmont Avenue, CBS reports. Police are investigating his death. (CBS)

2. A 72-year-old woman is expected to recover after being shot in the thigh Thursday afternoon in the 3100 block of North Broadway. Ald. Tom Tunney called on Chicago police for more presence in Lakeview after two shootings occurred in the past week. “I find it unacceptable that our 19th Police District staffing numbers are so low,” he said in a statement. 3. The city will host a town hall Tuesday for North Side residents to learn more and ask questions about efforts to prevent violence in Chicago. In-person and online viewing options will be available for the April 5 event. (Block Club)
