1. Lakeview saw more carjackings in 2021 than any of its North Side neighbors, according to a new Block Club report. Thirty carjackings were reported in the neighborhood last year, compared to six in 2019. (Block Club)

2. Nonprofit Trilogy Behavioral Healthcare is offering mental health first responder services in some North Side neighborhoods as part of a state-funded program. According to PBS, the move aims to “prioritize treatment over a criminal justice response when possible.” (WTTW)
