1. Chicago police want to convert a stretch of Waveland Avenue into a one-way street, according to Ald. Tom Tunney’s office. A police proposal seeks to make Waveland one-way going east from Sheffield Avenue to Halsted Street. The move would help manage traffic created by Wrigley Field and nearby schools. (Block Club)

2. A majority of live theater venues will continue requiring masks and vaccine proof to provide peace of mind for patrons, even after the city lifts its mandates on Feb. 28. “This is what our audiences want,” leaders of The League of Chicago Theatres said in a statement. (Paid source: Sun-Times)
