Boystown Brawl, Biting Sends 3 to Hospital
An Aurora woman sent three people, including a police officer, to the hospital after a fight erupted at Hydrate in Boystown, according to reports.

A Saturday night Boystown brew-ha-ha landed a trio in the hospital after an Aurora woman reportedly injured two men with a glass beer bottle and then bit an officer, police said.
Rosalinda Heredia, 24, of the 400 block of North Union Avenue in Aurora, was charged with multiple counts of aggravated battery. She’s scheduled to make her next court appearance on Jan. 11.
According to the police report, a 19th District tactical team was dispatched to Hydrate Nightclub around 3:30 a.m. after police on patrol heard reports of a fight in progress. Once they arrived, police found an off-duty Kenosha, WI, police officer and an unknown civilian holding down Heredia outside the bar on the sidewalk, the report said.

A bartender at the club, which is located at 3458 N. Halsted St., reportedly told the cops she watched Heredia hit a 29-year-old man and a 30-year-old man in their heads using a glass beer bottle. Both were taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Hospital and were treated for serious injuries, police said.
When police tried to take the woman into custody, she punched one of the officers, the report says. After multiple attempts to calm Heredia, an officer performed an emergency take down, tackling her to the ground. However, she continued to punch and kick, they said.

An officer performed a “leg strike” to Heredia’s upper body in hopes of stunning her, but she continued to be violent, the report says. While she was being handcuffed, she reportedly bit an officer in the leg, breaking the skin.
Officers were able to cuff her eventually, but when she was brought to a standing position, she kicked a man in the knee, police said. That’s when officers carried her, facedown, into the squad car.
Heredia was taken to the 19th District Police Station for processing. The officer she bit was brought to Thorek Hospital on West Irving Park Road for treatment, while the two men she hit with the glass beer bottle were treated and released from Illinois Masonic Hospital.
