1. Two pedestrians were injured Monday after being struck by a car while crossing Ashland Avenue in Andersonville. The 6-year-old girl and 42-year-old woman were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. (Block Club)

2. The same group of smash-and-grab burglars are responsible for 200 thefts in Chicago, Cook County prosecutors said Tuesday. Dion Butts was arrested this week and told police his group hit hundreds of retail shops, liquor stores and convenience stores, including some in Lakeview. (NBC)
3. Foxtrot will open a new location at Gallagher Way this spring, Block Club reports. The cafe and convenience store will open at 3649 N. Clark St. (Block Club)
