Fashion Clash: Lake View Competes with Bucktown for Most Stylish

When it comes to style, Racked Chicago is putting Bucktown toe-to-toe Lake View’s Southport Corridor.

The shopping and style website is hosting a Neighborhood Style Showdown competition including a number of Chicago’s hottest shopping spots. But in round two, Southport is racing against nearby Bucktown, both hoping to advance.

Racked cites Bucktown’s Vivid Braille and Za Za Zoo nail salon as businesses with a stylish edge, and on Southport, the publication brings up Julius Meinl, Tango Sur and The Music Box.

When this article was written, Lake View had a hard lead, snagging more than 200 of the poll’s 345 votes. However, anything can happen.
