FedEx Not as Swift as Santa, Must Deliver on Christmas Day
FedEx Express offices will also be open Friday for four hours.
CHICAGO, IL — Unable to finish holiday deliveries on Christmas Eve, FedEx will be delivering packages on Christmas Day and opening the doors of its Express outlets across the country so people can pick up their packages.
Express office counters will be open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. FedEx’s other operations will be closed.
Warm-weather storms that buffeted the Midwest and South, including tornadoes, are partially to blame for the disruption and delay, as well as an uptick in last-minute shipping.
