Guardian Angels Join in Hunt for 'Lake View Rapist'

The Guardian Angels, a volunteer security group, have been patrolling Chicago in search of the suspect connected to last week's sexual assault on Belmont. The suspect reportedly forced a woman into her apartment around 4:30 a.m. on Sunday morning, where he then sexually assaulted her.

The Guardian Angels have plastered the neighborhood with posters of a drawing of the suspect, as well as a description. The group patrolled the area Friday morning, and offered a free self-defense seminar on Saturday.
