Happy Birthday: Feigenholtz Surprised at Holiday Party
The local politician was surprised at her annual holiday party when her staff brought out a birthday treat.
State Rep. Sara Feigenholtz (D-Chicago) blew out the candles on her birthday cookie Monday night when her staff surprised her with an impromptu “Happy Birthday” celebration.
It happened during the politician’s annual holiday party Monday night at her office at 1051 W. Belmont Ave. where people sang "Happy Birthday." Feigenholtz’s actual birthday is Tuesday, Dec. 11, and she turns 56.
Covering the 12th district, Feigenholtz’s presides over both Lake View and Lincoln Park, and she’s held the position for 15 years. She was most recently in the news when the Metropolitan Chicago Breast Cancer Task Force recognized her efforts with women’s health advocacy.
