Lakeview East Chamber Honors Patch Editor
Andy Ambrosius received a Certificate of Recognition for Outstanding Community Reporting at Monday's Annual Meeting of the Lakeview East Chamber of Commerce.

Dear readers,
I would like to thank the Lakeview East Chamber of Commerce for the certificate of excellence for Outstanding Community Reporting during the Annual Meeting and Awards Ceremony.
Hearing that someone is appreciative of all the work the Patch team does in Lake View to report on interesting local news is an enormous honor. As I wrote in my introductory article when the website went live, Lake View is also my home, and every day I’m excited to investigate and report on things I’m genuinely curious about.

From neighborhood officials to my neighbors on the street, everyone in Lake View has been the friendliest group of individuals I’ve had the pleasure of working with. It makes writing for Lake View Patch that much more exciting when I know everyone is so thoroughly enjoying the news we work so hard to create.
A special thanks to my coworkers Carrie Frillman, Sarah Flagg and Lauren Williamson, as well as Lakeview East Chamber Executive Director Maureen Martino for thinking of Patch during the award ceremony.
