1. A Lakeview teacher was arrested at O’Hare last week for carrying a concealed weapon while attempting to board a flight to Orlando. Victor M. Aguilar, a science teacher at Inter-American Magnet School, was charged with a misdemeanor. (Chicago City Wire)
2.The COVID-19 positivity rate in Illinois is 17.3 percent, with more than 19,200 new cases reported statewide Monday. Close to 59,000 cases were reported over the weekend. (ABC)

Tropical bar Lost Lake will close after seven years at the corner of Diversey and Kedzie. “A super-spreader surge that wiped-out what would usually be our busiest the of year was the last little straw this camel could handle,” owners wrote via social media.
